Features

• Retaining rings are used to help secure sockets onto drive tools.
• They are not intended to bear any load.
• The rotational forces are between the drive tool and the socket.
• The resin crush gauge on the pin helps indicate when a socket is excessively worn and should be replaced.
• Drive tool and socket should line up when in use and should not pinch the crush gauge.
• Cracked sockets and/or worn drive tools cause each other to turn excessively in relation to each other. This action pinches the small fin or the crush gauge on these retaining rings. If the crush gauge is pinched, it is an indication that the socket and or the drive tool need to be replaced.
• One-piece construction, no loose parts. Pin is made of resin which allows the material to compress without breaking.
• Part numbers are embossed on the rings near the point at which the pin and ring meet.

Designed to cut soil pipes quickly and easily, the RIDGID 32900 Soil Pipe Cutter has a large chain ideal for heavy-duty jobs. The versatile chain pipe cutter cuts cast-iron soil pipe as well as concrete and clay pipe. Its larger chain can also cut 4-inch class 22 water main and 2-inch to 5-inch extra heavy-duty soil pipe. The tool features an integral ratchet handle centered on the pipe, useful when cutting pipe in trenches to help keep the trench width to a minimum.

Constructed for safe and easy use, the soil pipe cutter features a unique hooking mechanism to make hooking the chain easier and a hand guard to protect your knuckles when cutting.

This pipe cutting tool has a 1-1/2-inch to 6-inch pipe capacity. With the addition of one chain extension assembly (sold separately), it can cut pipe up to 8-inch nominal diameter. If you are cutting clay pipe ONLY, you can extend the chain to allow cutting pipe up to 15 inches.

The RIDGID 00-R, 12-R and 11-R Threaders are designed to thread pipe or conduit using individual die heads for each size of pipe and a manually operated ratchet.
