Our Story

Unicoa was incorporated by Larry F. Pershing as Glendale Industrial Supply in 1973, beginning as a two-man bearing supply operation in Glendale, Arizona. Larry prided himself on the importance of establishing relationships with customers, suppliers, and employees.

Building on this foundation, Mr. Pershing grew Unicoa into a 70 employee, two-location supplier of construction, pipeline, and industrial supply, providing goods and service on both a state and nationwide level.

In 2019, Mr. Pershing completed the sale of Unicoa to John Paul Labbe, manager and second-generation employee, who remains committed to Larry’s vision while continuing to grow Unicoa’s reach and presence in the Industrial Supply field.

“The work environment that Larry created is what drew me in to working for Unicoa in the first place,” says Labbe. “It always seemed like a tight knit family, but also became an extension of my own family. After 15 years of seeing Larry’s selfless dedication to his employees and customers, I couldn’t refuse the opportunity to follow in his footsteps.”

Locations

Unicoa has two physical locations in Phoenix and Tucson. Both of our locations have a showroom and tool repair departments open Monday - Friday 6am - 4pm.

Unicoa is an authorized distributor for all of the manufacturers’ products we sell, whether it be online or in our retail store.

By purchasing from an authorized distributor, you can ensure quality products and that all warranties will be upheld.
